Semantic Entities Status
Each entity in the semantic model falls into one of three life‑cycle statuses:
Verified
A green dot beside the object name signals that the entity is verified and ready for organization‑wide querying
Visibility and usage of the entity:
Both Data Experts and Business Users can access and query this entity to ask questions and perform analyses.
Unverified
A gray dot beside the object name means the entity is new and not yet verified; it remains hidden from business users until validated.
Visibility and usage of the entity:
- Data Experts can view the entity, and any queries they run will use its current definition.
- Business Users cannot access the entity; queries that depend on it will not execute.
Pending Review
An orange dot beside the object name indicates that recent changes to the entity are still pending verification.
Visibility and usage of the entity:
- Data Experts see the updated entity, and their queries use its revised definition.
- Business Users continue to see the last verified version, and their queries run against that stable definition.
